Sanjay Gupta is Carter Kissell Associate Professor & Research Director in the Department of Urology at the Case Western Reserve University and at the Urology Institute, University Hospitals Case Medical Center. He holds secondary appointments in the Departments of Nutrition and Division of General Medical Sciences at Case Comprehensive Cancer Center. Dr Gupta′s research is primarily on prostate cancer and involves both basic and translational areas of focus. In basic research the focus is to develop appropriate biomarkers for early detection and prognosis of prostate cancer. Another focus is to identify novel targets to monitor the efficacy of treatment with chemopreventive or therapeutic agents. His research interests also include translation of bench research to its application in clinics. Dr Gupta has authored more than 100 publications, including book chapters, research articles and reviews. His innovative approach to develop these agents in the prevention and treatment of prostate cancer has led to publications in several journals including Cancer Research, Clinical Cancer Research, Oncogene, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, USA, Journal of Clinical Oncology, FASEB Journal and has been featured on NBC-5 news and highlighted in the Plain Dealer, and American Association for Cancer Research press release.

Molecular mechanism(s) of prostate and bladder carcinogenesis, role of inflammation in promoting prostate and bladder cancer, biomarker(s) for detection and prognosis of prostate cancer, Identification and characterization of prostate tumor stem cells, epigenetic mechanisms of gene silencing in prostate/bladder cancer and its reactivation by natural agents, molecular targets for prevention and treatment of prostate cancer, prostate cancer stem cells their characteristics, chemoprevention of prostate/bladder cancer by naturally occurring and/or synthetic compound, prevention based clinical trials with promising agents.

Grace Y. Sun emeritus obtained B.S. in Chemistry from Seattle Pacific University and Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Oregon State University. After holding a research scientist position in Cleveland for 7 years, she was recruited to the Biochemistry Department in University of Missouri. As an internationally renowned neuroscientist, Dr. Sun is recognized for her research on brain lipids and signaling pathways in relation to neurodegenerative diseases and aging.

Her research experience included serving as director of the MU Alzheimer’s disease research program, and project leader in the MU Center for Phytonutrient and Phytochemistry.

Dr. Andrasik received his doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Ohio University in 1979, after completing an Internship at the Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic, Department of Psychiatry, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, under the direction of Drs. Michel Hersen and Samuel M. Turner. He then joined the Psychology Faculty of the State University of New York at Albany (beginning as an Assistant Professor and then promoted to Associate Professor), where he also held the positions of Research Associate Professor in the Department of Neurology and Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Family Practice at Albany Medical College

Wang Qiong has finished her Master degree in neuropharmacology in Peking Union Medical College. She is currently working as an Associate professor in Southwest Medical University. She has published numerous research papers and articles in reputed journals and has various other achievements in the related studies.

Mr. Zhang Jian Guo has finished his bachelor degree of Chinese Medicine in Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He had worked as an Associate Chief Chinese Medicine Practitioner and Associate professor in Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine affiliated hospital (Lai Wu Shi Zhong Yi Yi Yuan). Then he became a lecturer in the School of Chinese Medicine at the Hong Kong Baptist University. He is now a Professional Consultant in the School of Chinese Medicine at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

She completed her doctorate in Physiology and Pharmacology at University of Science Malaysia. Jeena , Associate Professor & Head, Department of Head and Neck, Ophthalmology & ENT, VPSV Ayurveda Medical College, Kottakkal, India. She is Specialized Practitioner in Ayurvedic Ophthalmology and ENT for the past 12 years and Member of panel of experts. She is the Principal Investigator for clinical trial in proving the efficacy of new medical products as directed by the Drugs Controller, Government of Kerala.
